Megan completed the requirements for the Tech Recruiter Certification program offered by Recruiting Innovation, an industry training platform for tech recruiters. The rigorous six-course curriculum is designed to help non-technical professionals build productive and successful relationships with technical clients, candidates and colleagues.
Courses covered the three pillars of the software development life cycle – Front-end, Back-end, and DevOps Engineering – as well as engaging with technical professionals, strategies for promoting diversity and inclusion, and optimizing the full-cycle tech recruiting process.
Armed with greater knowledge of tech talent, from software developers to a wide range of technical positions, Megan gained unique insight on what candidates are looking for in job descriptions; how to draft outreach messages that generate responses; and which interview techniques deliver results.
Now, Megan looks forward to putting her certification, training and technical skills to use in working with employers to fill a growing number of software development, IT and tech-related roles in today’s rapidly expanding remote and virtual work environment.
