Let’s face it the past 2 years have been unpredictable at best, so it may be unfair to penalize applicants who might have been affected. While in the past a gap on a resume might have been a concern, the reality is that it shouldn’t be now. Gaps are not a bad thing, it’s just something to investigate to discover someone’s motivation, career goals, and what people did during that gap.
