I’ve had three healthy babies, and after each, I was able to take ample time away from the demands of my corporate job to care for myself and my growing family. California, where I live, is one of the few states in the country that enables partially paid family leave for most parents. And thankfully, my employer offered generous benefits on top.

HR professionals know firsthand that it’s never easy to find and hire great employees. In a historically tight labor market, that challenge has become infinitely harder. It requires more time, energy and creativity than ever before – and that’s a tall task amid the increased demands the pandemic has placed on the HR function.

As an older worker, I tend to see greater focus in my industry on hiring younger, less experienced, less expensive talent. How can I market myself to better compete with younger workers?....ty.
