+ About the Alaant Advisor
The Alaant Advisor is our column focused on all things going on in the world of recruiting, job placement, and search. Think of it as your weekly briefing—a handy, quick guide to what's going on.

Here's what's happening this week:

Last Week’s Poll Results:

Q: Does your company partner with local schools/colleges as part of its recruitment strategy?

Yes – 47% & No – 53%

Many companies partner or work with local colleges for recent grads or interns, but many overlook a valuable resource in high school partnerships. We have some gems right here with the growing P-Tech programs or schools like Tech Valley High School - which consists of students from ALL over our region. They have great opportunities to partner with the school through mentorship programs or the Business Alliance which creates a direct pipeline for your business by gaining access to the young minds now and helping to shape the curriculum to address your workforce needs!
