Bio
Zachary started his career in Talent Acquisition by joining Alaant as an intern. During that time, he learned the ins and outs of recruitment, client development, and working with professionals from varying backgrounds. Upon his graduation, he was offered a full-time position and deepened his understanding of talent acquisition within administrative, life science, and engineering roles.
During Zach’s college career, he always had a curious mind when deciding what he wanted to do. Having been enrolled in Psychology, Biology, and Fine Arts before finally landing on Business Management, Zach loves recruiting as it provides an opportunity to work in a variety of different industries. He also treasures building relationships and meeting candidates whom he might otherwise never have the opportunity to connect with. Throughout his career with Alaant, Zach has furthered his education, becoming a Certified Search Consultant through the American Staffing Association. He continues his education through workshops, networking events, and webinars.
When Zachary isn’t working, he spends time with his partner and two dogs, Olive and Theodore (who also double as coworkers). Zach is a huge fan of the horror genre, watching a movie a night—ritualistically, if you will. He also enjoys reading, specifically history books, and has recently honed his culinary skills, thanks to Amy Stringer- which were otherwise nonexistent. Zach is an avid traveler, hiker, and, most of all, talker. So, if you run into him, be prepared to make a friend.
