Hi everyone! We recently conducted a poll asking, “What’s your overall perception of working with a recruiter?' and the feedback was definitely mixed. Here’s what we found: 29% of you said that recruiters are helpful and supportive, and 14% recognized recruiters as time-saving experts. But, a significant number of respondents shared that their experience felt impersonal or that recruiters seemed like just a middleman. And I get it. Unfortunately, as with many professions, a few bad actors can create distrust. But a good recruiter is all about you—your career goals and your success.
If a recruiter isn’t taking the time to understand your path and where you want to go, that’s a sign to keep looking for someone who genuinely cares. The right recruiter isn’t just trying to fill a position—they want to build a lasting relationship. Remember, recruiters often have access to employers and opportunities that you might not find on your own.
